Wood Based
Activated Carbon
Sustainable, high-mesopore carbon for decolorization and purification.
Product Overview
Our wood-based activated carbon is produced from sustainable forestry resources using phosphoric acid (chemical) activation. This process creates a carbon with predominantly mesoporous structure and exceptionally high methylene blue adsorption value, making it the preferred choice for decolorization applications.
Wood-based carbon excels in removing large organic molecules, color bodies, and impurities from liquid-phase applications. Its low ash content and high purity make it suitable for food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade applications where product contamination must be minimized.
Key Applications
- Sugar decolorization
- Pharmaceutical purification
- MSG production
- Citric acid refining
- Wine & spirits clarification
- Chemical intermediate purification
- Vegetable oil refining
- Wastewater COD reduction
