Our Story

Founded in 2003, Filtrachem has grown from a single production facility into one of China's most comprehensive activated carbon manufacturers. Today, with three production bases spanning Ningxia, Shanxi, and Fujian provinces, we produce over 100,000 tons of activated carbon annually.
Our mission is simple: deliver the highest quality activated carbon at factory-direct prices to customers worldwide. By controlling every step of the supply chain — from raw material sourcing to final quality testing — we ensure consistent product performance meeting international standards.
With a dedicated export team speaking English, Arabic, Spanish, and Russian, we serve over 500 active customers across 50+ countries in water treatment, air purification, mining, food processing, and chemical industries.
How We Make It
Our Manufacturing Process
From raw coconut shells and coal to premium activated carbon — every step controlled and certified.
Raw Material Sourcing
Premium coconut shells from Southeast Asia, select anthracite coal from Ningxia and Shanxi provinces.
Carbonization
Raw materials carbonized at 600–800°C in oxygen-free rotary kilns to form char with initial pore structure.
Steam Activation
Char activated at 900–1100°C with controlled steam flow, creating the extensive micropore network.
Quality Control
Every batch tested for iodine value, surface area, hardness, ash content, and moisture before release.
Packaging & Export
Custom packaging in jumbo bags or smaller units. Expert export team handles all documentation and logistics.

Dedicated to coconut shell and wood-based carbon production. Direct access to coconut shell supply chains from Southeast Asia via Xiamen port.
